We're building the data foundation for our company by providing highly powered cloud data analytics platforms to nearly Daimler Truck employee around the globe and help our colleagues implementing data products (Data Mesh) to accelerate Daimler Trucks' Journey to creating the best of out of our data. Then feel free to contact us as we are looking to strengthen our team with a Cloud Solution Architect for Palantir Foundry and Microsoft Fabric Platforms.

• As a Cloud Platform Architect, you will identify business requirements and supervise the implementation, delivery and support of solutions for Palantir Foundry and Microsoft Fabric platforms within Daimler Truck
• Lead the design, development and operation of named Cloud data & AI platforms and services while using best practice
• Work as the (co-)owner of platforms and coodinate with our stakeholder teams and consult them on technical tasks
• Collaborate with teams across the company (i.e. network, security, operations) to build complete Data solutions as per Daimler Trucks security and governances standards
• Evaluate cloud technology alternatives and makes a case for the best approach
• Develop and maintain products (Palantir- Foundry and Microsoft Fabric) architecture documentation
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for responsible product’s resource management
• Act as a technical expert to propose cloud strategy for Data and Analytics

THAT’S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
• Sound knowledge of IT service management (ITIL)
• Good technical apprehension and understanding of technical contexts
• Strong (multi-)project management skills including team management
• Technical/hand-on Experience with Palantir Foundry platform (preferred)
• Demonstratable experience in cloud architecture and design (preferably Azure)
• Experience in Cloud technologies including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS (Azure and AWS)
• Hands-on experience of implementing infrastructure and cloud technologies to support application architecture and deployment on Public Cloud (Azure)
• Experience with hybrid cloud networking, including network planning and data security
• Solid understanding of Cloud Security best practices
• Sound knowledge and experience in the application of agile methods (Scrum, SAFe, KanBan)
• Administration and maintenance experience of Microsoft PowerBI/Fabric SAAS platforms, including security, governance for a multitenant setup, intogration with other data sources and platforms
• Certification desirable or interested in certification in the AWS or Azure area
• Knowledge of: Serverless, Container, Kubernetes, Kanban, CI/CD, Linux, Windows
• Your are proficiency speaking and writing English, German is a plus
