We here at Daimler Truck are looking for a Data and Reporting Analyst to join our Service Contracts and Warranty team. Within this role, you will be responsible for all Service Contract and warranty reporting by extracting and managing data from various sources in order provide accurate information to the business as well as to help make sound business decisions.

More about the role

Reporting Provision Management

  • Develop a suite of dashboards and regular reports to produce consistent and comparable analysis of Service Contracts and Warranty data to all relevant stakeholders enabling them to self-serve where possible.
  • Using various software packages including advanced MS Excel and Power BI illustrate situations to the business such as contract, warranty claims data and financial information.
  • Create, explain, and distribute monthly, quarterly, annual reports for Service Contracts and warranty that are meaningful, user friendly, and adaptable. Identification of trends and action planning when encountering any issues to ensure they are addressed.
  • Complete the weekly parts bonus reporting checking accuracy before sending to all Daimler Truck UK Dealer partners.
  • Manage and resolve data issues where necessary and where required escalate any data issues to the relevant responsible department/person/s.
  • Continuous analysis and forecasting of the Service Contracts portfolio to track its profitability along with portfolio growth and increased penetration.
  • Make recommendations to the business including pricing, audits, admin issues, system issues, system rules, technical vehicle topics, system development and Dealer improvement opportunities.

System and process development.

  • Lead the development of the business systems used to produce reporting and where required, implement, and review systems and processes that improve the businesses understanding and decision making linked to Service Contracts and Warranty topics.

Quarterly DVSA Vehicle Safety Recalls Reporting

  • Create and present detailed reports to communicate achievement results of vehicle safety recalls to the UK Government via the DVSA on a quarterly basis.

  • Confident in communicating effectively with diverse audiences, both verbal and written.
  • Able to prioritise, meet tight deadlines whilst working on multiple requests and projects.
  • High levels of numeracy required, together with high levels of accuracy and keen attention to detail.
  • Proven IT skills, especially the ability to create/amend complex Excel spreadsheets, produce clear presentations.
  • Confident to present findings and make recommendations to senior management.
  • To work well as part of a team but also be able to self-start and work effectively on your own.
  • Must be able to be flexible and agile in working style.
  • Ability to comprehend financial transactions and commercial awareness an advantage.
  • Motor industry experience and knowledge of Dealer operations an advantage.
