• Adhere to quality IATF16949, VDA6, ISO9002, QS9000.

• Ensure all key processes are standardised and documented

• Ensure that all work done meets the required quality and customer requirements

• Follow standard work instructions

• Ensure all jobs are delivered on time

• Read and interpret blueprints or drawings of parts to be cast or patterns to be made; then compute dimensions and plan operational sequences.

• Set up and operate machine tools, such as milling machines, lathes, drill presses, and grinders, in order to machine castings or patterns.

• Verify conformance of patterns or template dimensions to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, scales, and micrometers.

• Program computerized numerical control machine tools.

• Responsible for all hand work and machining to deliver a final product

• Design and create templates, patterns, or coreboxes according to work orders, sample parts, or mock-ups.

• Ensure reduction in waste through following correct operating procedures

• Idea generation and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

• Work is completed within allocated time frame and cost

• Adhere to the organisations's code of conduct

• Matric / NQF4 / N3 Qualification, • Trade Test – Patternmaker / Toolmaker , • CADCAM / CNC training added advantage •, Experience in metal work • +/-5 years tooling manufacturing & repair related experience • Sound foundry knowledge added advant
