Position Overview

QA Automation with Database

We are looking for the best people to help on our current reporting solution.

Deutsche Bank International Private Bank offers to our Wealth and Private clients a broad range of traditional and alternative investment solutions, providing a holistic service for all aspects.

Our MIS reporting solution is aiming to provide a various range of reports to different stakeholders within International Private Bank Domain, targeting financial metrics for our top management.

You need to be an excellent QA Automation for database, communicator and feel comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels within the client organization in an empathic and considerate way. You must have proven experience in automating testing software. You must be willing to work on maintaining one of our current reporting applications and to develop a new application.

We are looking for motivated candidates that show us:

• Excellent communication and English skills
• Can work under pressure and be delivery focused and pragmatic
• Excellent teamwork with collaborative, innovative and intelligent problem solving
• A minimum of 3 years testing experience within Oracle database projects;
• Analyze requirements, write test cases and create test data
• Conduct testing activities, analyze and record test results
• Analyze, troubleshoot, document and communicate results
• Retest corrections to ensure defects are resolved
• Ensure that testing activities are being conducted in accordance to the testing strategy and plan
• Drive adherence to testing best practices and DB testing standards
• Define requirements for test environments
• Contribute to test effort estimation
• Ensure that test risks and issues are escalated as appropriate
• Coordinate with all team members, including 3rd party suppliers

Technically, we are looking for excellent experience in:

• Experience with Java, Oracle database, BI solutions
• Experience with performance testing, regression testing, system testing, integration testing
• Experience with Gherkin test cases
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience in producing test data
• Understating of Behavior Driven Development

• Excellent skills in test planning, designing, and test strategy/case/script creation and execution
• Demonstrates experience in executing complex testing tasks, understands the business process design
• Knowledge of white/black box level testing, industry standard practices and tools;
• Understands the overall SDLC and applies that understanding in execution of tasks
• Performance and productivity oriented to drive toward quality testing outcomes and results, seeks to build competency in use of change tools and techniques
• Proactively initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, demonstrated ability to cooperate with a variety of people
• Experience of building technical testing solutions adhering to frameworks and standards
• Experience of planning and executing testing across projects, able to suggest a plan of action even if unable to gain total picture of the problem
• Experience of defect/task management (JIRA);

Nice to have:

• Experience on Google Cloud
• Experience in Finance industry
• Financial Services Domain knowledge
• Database experience and advanced SQL skills
