General Job Description

The Deutsche Bank Chief Security Office is looking for an experienced DLP Information Security Specialist. Adhering to internal and external policies, the role is required to identify and assess technical and personnel security breaches within a heterogeneous business and technical landscape. This will include working with a variety of technologies and business groups to detect, assess and document the escalation of security alerts and consequence management. Additionally, role will require cooperation with control functions as well as business to identify information that needs to be protected and controls that are best suited to address that requirement. The work will also involve utilising vendor solutions, bespoke Deutsche Bank control applications and supporting the development of team tasks, such as the continual assessment of preventive and detective controls.

Job Responsibilities

Analyse and assess incident information by reviewing documents based on a principled approach by using systems to find and review all relevant incident data. Validate on a case-by-case base to the best of your ability and judgment what are the next steps and thereby following a described process in key operating procedures e.g. escalation, resolution etc. Co-operate with Control Functions and Business during the investigation process. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision with the objective of end-to-end case management. Perform analysis and suggest suitable controls; gather and prepare business requirements for the control development. Report and feedback ways to improve existing process to achieve better operational excellence via automation.

Skill Summary

Experience:

Preferably 3-5 years of experience in one of: Compliance (including monitoring), DLP, Risk or SOC Ability to collect and analyze security logs from multiple data sources and make sense of it. Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix organizations. Ability to work in fast paced environment and within tight datelines. Meticulous and self-motivating. Possess good judgment and able to make sound decisions independently. Strong communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills is required as this role requires speaking to different stakeholders.

Skills (Recommended):

Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Incident management, audit or investigations experience. Certifications in IT Security is preferred (eg. CISSP, Certified Risk Analyst). Fluency in German is a plus but not required. Prior experience with working with Splunk is a plus but not required
