Commercial Banking Tribe

You’ll be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.

We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.

Our tribe is on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. We are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and we are collaborating with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/x) you will work closely with production teams removing toiling activities/implementing automatization and with the squads acting as a JAVA backend developer implementing feature, based on state-of-the-art technologies.

Your key responsibilities

• As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will migrate Application self-reliant from OnPrem (PAAS) to GCP
• Use and implement IaC Technology (Terraform) on GCP
• Build/Manage continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for GCP
• Work closely with development team and release managers to deploy components for multiple releases in multiple environments
• Develop and recommend appropriate solutions and services that meet client needs and provide value
• Ensure a high-quality standard of deliverables according to Industry standards and best practices.

Your skills and experiences

• Multi-annual relevant experience as DevOps engineer or Configuration Manager
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP, AZURE, AWS
• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub, Terraform, Docker Container orchestration such Kubernetes
• Strong hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines
• Proactive personality coupled with strong technical/problem solving capabilities with an ability to quickly adapt to new environments/technologies and provide long term solutions
• Excellent analytical skills. German skills would be a plus
