Overview

As a credit structurer in the Cross Product and Platform Solutions team, you will be responsible for the marketing, pricing, and execution of repackaging and structured notes transactions for clients based in the America’s region. You will be the regional leader of the structured notes business for the America’s as well as the regional contact for Deutsche Bank’s repackaging platforms. You will engage and support with other areas of the Bank (financing, emerging markets) to assist with the packaging and syndication of risk to be distributed via Deutsche Bank’s repackaging platforms, as well as manage the day-to-day pipeline and execution process for flow structured notes with real money clients based in the America’s.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for structuring of illiquid/structured credit transactions including idea generation, product development, marketing, structuring and execution

  • Covering the Emerging Markets client space in the Americas and Europe, Middle East and Africa for structured credit products, and as such must develop a detailed understanding of the client base and their investment goals and constraints

  • Specializing in the origination of strategic Environmental, Social, Governance infrastructure financing transactions within the Cross Product & Platform business

  • Forming part of deal team alongside colleagues within trading and coverage teams on specific transactions

How You’ll Lead

  • Manage the Investor Products business for the America’s, including pipeline management, business selection, and transaction execution processes for structured notes/repackaging transactions

  • Partner with key stakeholders in Sales and Trading to develop business plans and strategies for the structured notes business, take a leading role in coordinating planning forums and management information for the monitoring of the Business

  • Leverage long standing client relationships to introduce transactions and clients to Deutsche Bank and lead the development of new distribution channels for structured notes

Skills You’ll Need

  • Extensive experience in structuring

  • Self-starter who can take the lead on new product development and expand the suite of products offered by Deutsche Bank in the credit and repackaging space

  • Should have direct experience in structuring and executing structured credit transactions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize a large workload to meet time pressing deadlines

  • Partnership and collaboration skills to organize complex transactions touching multiple business areas

  • Legal structuring expertise for complex credit and repackaging transactions

  • Pricing and risk management expertise in relation to credit instruments and fixed income derivatives

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $190K to $300K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
