Contextual Banking Tribe

The Contextual Banking Tribe delivers products and services that are easy to integrate, accessible, consumable and allow our clients to integrate more deeply with DB delivering greater value beyond banking.

As a Full Stack Engineer in the Contextual Banking Tribe, you will be responsible for design and development of new solutions, software testing, documentation, deployment, and production support. You will work with cross-functional teams using multiple technology stacks to build solutions.

Your key responsibilities

• Participate in business requirements and contribute materially to the development of functional design

• Develop source code for front- and backend software components (e.g., Java, Python, GO)

• Integrate software components following the integration strategy and verify integrated software components by unit and integrated software testing

• Support release deployments into controlled environments, while creating, building, and deploying in the microservice architecture on a cloud environment

Your skills and experiences

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field

• Experience in full stack development, across backend such as Java, Python, GO, and frontend knowledge, including JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

• Good understanding of data structures, software design patterns, and best practices

• Preferably familiar with working in a complex, matrix organisation

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills; German is a plus
