As part of the AFC QA Oversight & Standards team, you will participate in the design and implementation of a globally consistent 2nd Line of Defence (LoD) QA capability for assuring that AFC controls (1LoD and 2LoD controls) for Anti Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions and Embargoes (SAE), Anti-Fraud Bribery and Corruption (AFBC)) are robust and correctly executed across the Bank to manage AFC risks.

Your key responsibilities

  • Managing the governance and maintenance of the QA programme’s framework and coordinate its execution with CT&A regional heads and regional QA leads
  • Compiling reports and trend analysis for review
  • Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with various teams, as required to drive effective execution of QA activity
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors (including regulator appointed monitors) on QA programme related matters
  • Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and changes to the AFC control environment

Your skills and experience

  • Understanding of QA requirements to assess the operating effectiveness of controls
  • Excellent knowledge of products and services offered within an Investment Bank/Financial Markets and Financial Crime
  • Performance and results oriented with strong attention to detail, able to deliver high quality results within tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, including report writing skills
  • Able to work independently with minimum direction
