Job Title- QA Automation Engineer

Location- Bangalore

Role Description
The Test Automation Engineer works with various scrum teams and infrastructure teams - both internal & strategic vendors, to define Test Automation Strategy and roadmap, develop high quality technology solutions to maximise standardisation and reuse, in order to ensure that testing reduces in cost while maintaining Deutsche Bank's high quality standards
They will take lead in topics of test automation, data validation and service virtualisation. They need to have specialisation in one or more of tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, Cypress, GreenHat Tester / Rational Integration Tester, SOAP UI NG PRO, HP Service Virtualization manager, Tosca, Worksoft Certify
Alternatively they should have specialisation in one of the Mobile Testing tools such HP Mobile Center, Perfecto Mobile or similar open source solutions.
They must have hands-on expertise and skills in at least one modern objected orientated language e.g. Java, .NET (C#), Python, Groovy, JavaScript, etc.

Your key responsibilities
Provide inputs to definition of Enterprise Test Automation Strategy and roadmap

  • Takes ownership of strategy and solution design, development and implementation in specific system areas, such as, Cloud, Continuous Delivery and Test / Behaviour Driven Development
  • Design, Develop and Implement test automation frameworks and reusable components for various platforms and technologies
  • Design, Develop and Implement Service Virtualization solutions for Server and Mobile applications
  • Provide technical guidance to a team of Test Automation Analysts to ensure high quality automation deliverables
  • Be hands-on with ability to lead a team, track & monitor automation KPIs and develop automation scripts
  • People Management
  • Takes ownership for own career management, seeking opportunities for continuous development of personal capability and improved performance contribution

Your skills and experience

Note: Number of years indicated are a minimum level of experience.
Area Years

  • Proven hands-on experience in Architecting Automation & System solutions 5 years
  • Strong technology knowledge and expertise in the field of Systems Automation 6 years
  • Specialisation in industry standard Automation (CI, Release & Test) and Service Virtualisation tools 3 years in one tool; 1 year in 2 others
  • Experience in defining & implementing tool strategy, test automation frameworks and reusable components across multiple platforms or technologies such as End-User (UI - desktop / browser / mobile) and Servers (middleware / back-end) 3 years
  • Programming expertise in modern object oriented languages such as .NET (C#), Python, Groovy, JavaScript 4 years
  • Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to interface clients 3 years
  • Proven experience of defining and implementing Technology Strategies 3 years
  • Overall relevant IT experience & demonstrated ability to Lead Technical teams 8-10 years
