Job Title - Senior Backend Developer

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer for Private Banking. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you should be comfortable in back-end coding languages, Java, SpringBoot, Microservice, Database, SQL development, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Your key responsibilities

• Will get involved with hands-on code commits and configuration
• Ensuring quality and efficiency of developed software
• Participate in code review of other team members
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings
• Articulate issues and risks to leads in timely manner
• Analyze software defects and get them fixed in timely manner
• Work closely with team to have defects resolved in a timely manne

Your skills and experience

• A creative approach towards solving technical problems
• 8+ years of Java development experience
• In-depth experience with Spring Framework
• Previous experience with application servers (any of the following: Tomcat, Weblogic)
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with REST and SOAP and experience with SAML, JWT, OAuth2
• Knowledge of TeamCity/Jenkins, Maven, GIT, Atlassian tools ecosystem
• SQL basic knowledge
• Proactive can-do attitude and a creative approach towards solving technical problems
