Corporate Bank Phoenix

Within the Corporate Bank Germany, the Phoenix Program is established to focus on the 2029 target operating model, business and required technical architecture to enable a new level of efficiency and quality of customer experience.

Through the Phoenix Program our target is to redesign our processes to make efficiency gains and thereby reduce our cost-to-service. At the same time, we want a first-class customer experience throughout the entire client lifecycle, which will allow us to make better use of our clients' wallets in the long term. We aim to increase scalability through a globally consistent, modern tech and data platform.

In Phoenix Corporate Bank’s business and DB technology staff work integrated in agile teams what provides engineers a unique opportunity to apply latest technology while learning about the products and processes of the bank.

As an IT Product Owner (m/f/x), you will work in one of our squads, transform business ideas in tangible user stories, guide through their implementation, and validate them to provide our clients with digital products.

Your key responsibilities

  • You will communicate with business stakeholders, identify requirements, and transform them into tangible user stories.

  • You will work closely within the squad, help them to understand the business requirements and guide them through the implementation.

  • You will define acceptance criteria and test to validate the solution and support the team in automate them.

  • You will evaluate the metrics and data collected, define KPIs and identify opportunities.

  • You will work in an agile setup, helping with feedback to improve our way of working.

Your skills and experiences

  • University degree with scientific, technologic, or business focus or equivalent working experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of banking products and processes, several years of experience in the analysis of business processes and requirements.

  • Distinctive analytical and communication skills and experience in working in an agile setup plus a very good economic and technical understanding.

  • You have a track record in contributing to complex projects spanning across different applications and business areas.

  • You are great collaborator and team player with ability to interface with multiple teams and functions and have good communication skills and can communicate fluently in English and in German.
