Role Description

FIC Operations Technology within the Investment Banking Division of Deutsche Bank is responsible for building and managing the Documentation & Settlement applications to support Operations Division in managing the trade lifecycle across Interest Rates, Credit, Equities (OTC Derivatives), Foreign Exchange & Money Market businesses.

As part of FIC Re-engineering program, our group is building cross-asset Documentation (DICE) and Settlement (CSE) platforms.

Your key responsibilities

• Set up QA processes and Test Automation design: You'll be responsible for establishing quality assurance processes and designing approaches for test automation from scratch. Additionally, you'll work on improving existing processes and approaches.
• Define testable architecture for developed applications: As part of your role, you'll influence the development team to implement a testable architecture for applications. This involves ensuring that the architecture supports effective testing.
• Design, develop, and extend in-house testing automation tools and test frameworks: You'll create and enhance tools and frameworks specifically for testing purposes. These in-house solutions will help streamline the testing process.
• Drive optimizations in the length of test cycles: Your goal will be to reduce the time it takes to complete test cycles. By doing so, you'll contribute to faster delivery of new functionality to the market.

Your skills and experience

• Many years of in-depth professional working experience in Quality Assurance area, test analysis skills, ability to design test cases using different test techniques.
• Proven track record in building test automation approaches on large scale.
• Experience in testing automation of complex systems, testing at different levels.
• Strong technical background, experience with SQL, Unix.
• Programming experience in Java/Python is a must.
• Need a blend of technical and leadership skills. They should understand testing methodologies, industry regulations, and quality management systems.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and team management skills are essential.
• Face challenges such as balancing speed with quality, managing diverse teams, and staying updated on testing trends.
