Job Description:

Deutsche Bank Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) is looking for a Senior Engineer in Luxembourg to join our Agile Data & Analytics team. We provide access to high-quality Private Bank data, analytics and reporting services and expertise to meet the data demand of our clients and to ensure compliance to data governance standards within the Private Bank.

You need to be an excellent developer, communicator and feel comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels within the organization in an empathic and considerate way.


Your main responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software in the context of data warehousing.
  • Build harmonized data provisioning solutions, esp. data sourcing, coding, testing, versioning.
  • Directly interact with a broad spectrum of stakeholders in multiple regions.
  • Perform research on various technologies and define improvements, build prototypes or core features as needed.
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

Your skills and experience:

  • Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent certification and / or relevant work experience) and minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, database structures, categories, properties, and best practices coupled with solid expertise in programming languages, such as SQL/PLSQL, Python, Java, unix shell scripting / bash scripting for backend and databases. Ability and openness to embark on the journey to Google Cloud migration and associated development activities.
  • Experience with tooling across the SDLC: e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Confluence, Artifactory, Git/BitBucket.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem solving, open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Very good in communicating and comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels within the organization with excellent English language skills, spoken and written.
