About Role

We're on the hunt for a QA Automation Engineer who is not only a wizard in automation testing but also has a solid grasp of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Contract Testing.

In this role, you'll be our go-to person for ensuring our products are top-notch. You'll work closely with our development and product teams and you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites and framework, ensuring our software meets the highest standards

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using the latest tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Implement and maintain BDD frameworks and write clear, concise, and readable test scenarios using Gherkin syntax.
• Continuously improve our automation processes and help us achieve faster release cycles.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
• Contribute to our CI/CD pipeline to ensure tests are run and results are reported in an efficient manner.

Skills & Qualifications

• You should have at least 5 years of experience in QA automation and BDD.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar. Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Languages: Solid understanding of Java
• Attention to Detail: You're thorough and meticulous in your testing approach.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and think creatively to find solutions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. You're able to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Team Player: You're collaborative, open to feedback, and always willing to lend a hand.

Nice to have

• Proactive can-do attitude
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP).
• Knowledge of performance and security testing A creative approach towards solving technical problems.
• Willing to collaborate across domains, for efficiency in technology sharing and reuse.
