As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Java based components and API’s that are key for achieving Deutsche Bank’s future state Anti Financial Crime capabilities.

Your key responsibilities
Responsible for developing software in Java, Angular and Oracle
Responsible for building REST web services & designing interface between UI and REST service.
Participating fully in the development process through the entire software lifecycle & agile software development process
Use test driven development (TDD), write clean code and refactor constantly.
Use BDD techniques, collaborating closely with users, analysts, developers and other testers. Make sure we are building the right thing.
Ensure that the software you build is reliable and easy to support in production.
Manage 3rd line support when needed
Your skills and experiences
Practical experience of web technologies, frameworks and tools like Java, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Knowledge of writing SQL queries and debugging procedures in Oracle is required.
Practical experience of test driven development and constant refactoring in continuous integration environment.
Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban or XP
Understanding of testing across the full Software Development lifecycle
Proactively, initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members
Agile Methodologies - Should be comfortable to work in an agile project environment
Hands-on experience in the development of complex software systems.
