Rates & Credit Post-trade
The Rates & Credit Suite of Applications is used daily by Fixed Income Traders and Middle Office Globally. These systems provide for all needs of Traders: providing liquidity to 10+ world's biggest multi-dealer platforms, receive and handle clients’ trading requests to execute trades, capture and service the trades through their sometimes 50year life cycle. Product range is wide - starting from Bonds, extending to REPO, IRS and ending with Exotic Portfolios. Dealing with complex financial products, we build these systems with a traceability and recoverability in mind. Wide diversity of products allows to see different styles of processing but also requires technology expertise to find reuse opportunities between various processing flows and products.
As a Senior QA DevOps Engineer (f/m/x), you'll be a part of the project team, together with the development team and end users you will work on a full life cycle of a product, from architecture design to implementation, testing cycle and level 3 production support.

Your key responsibilities
- You will participate in designing and executing automation, front-to-back, integration testing for complex IB business workflows automated on distributed multi-component technical stacks
- Design and implementation test workflows and tools for various type of testing (functional, end-to-end, functional integration, non-functional), building CI/CD pipeline for theses test and supporting DEV teams in onboarding their tests on these pipelines
- QA process measures (stability, reliability, performance) reporting and analytical tools implementation allowing DEV teams identify existing gaps affecting these measures.
- QA environments build and management for cloud based and Unix hosted applications.
- Partner with other team members on the platform and DEV and QA processes improvements
Your skills and experiences
- Experience as QA in projects built on Java platform and participation in non-functional measures gathering for enterprise applications and QA workflows and their optimization
- Knowledge and hands-on experience of Linux, Shell Scripting, Linux Networking, application layer protocols (HTTP/S, TLS/SSL, FTP, TCP Layer etc.)
- Hands-on experience with a Public Cloud provider. AWS, Azure or – ideally - Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with the components of modern cloud best practice: CI / CD using Jenkins, TeamCity, Github & Github Actions. Containerization with Docker. Kubernetes – ideally with Google Kubernetes Engine or RedHat OpenShift.
- Experience with Anthos as Hybrid cloud setup.
- Service Meshes – With either Anthos Service Mesh or, ideally, Consul Service Mesh.
- Open-Source dependency management and CVE mitigation.
- Automated testing, BDD and TDD.
- Observability using Google Cloud Operations or NewRelic.
- GIT, JIRA, Artifactory and BitBucket
- Comprehensive understanding of Code Analyzers/Linters and security fundamentals:
- Certificates, keys and their management
- Secret best practices and management
- Authentication and authorization
- Service accounts and identity federation
- Robust logging, tracing and anomaly detection
- VeraCode. SonarQube, KtLint, Eslint etc.
- Experience and knowledge in infrastructure architecture, capacity planning, failover and disaster recovery is a plus
- Very good knowledge of API-based service design. Understanding of microservices architecture principles. Working knowledge of tools and technologies supporting service design like API gateways, service registries, discovery and service meshes
- Capacity to identify inefficiencies, duplication and look at ways and means for simplification, and ability to work under pressure and drive resolution for major incidents
