About the business division

Private Bank Germany, with its core brands "Deutsche Bank" and "Postbank", has the largest number of clients of any private-sector financial institution in Germany. While the brands offer contrasting product and service portfolios, they do have one thing in common: their client-centric approach. At Private Bank Germany we service a combined total of some 19 million clients. Over 1,800 branches and advisory centres and nearly 11,000 points of contact for dispensing cash are the face of and the driving force behind our bank in Germany.

The team is part of the Divisional Control Office. The Private Bank Germany Divisional Control Office (DCO) oversees the non-financial risks, conduct & control topics and regulatory changes. The team works across the Private Bank Germany franchise delivering complex key risk and control agenda, adding value for the Business to reduce complexity and enhance controls. The team works with cross-functional and global teams, collaborating with multiple stakeholders globally across the bank.

Your Key Responsibilites

• Head the Product function for the core Business Banking Lending and Trade Finance products suite for Private Bank India viz. Working Capital Finance, Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, FX, etc.
• Responsibility to deliver Balance sheet as well as Revenue numbers in line with the business plans; NNL growth and Portfolio performance are the main focus areas
• Focus on new product development in line with business growth strategy as well as product gap fixing in line with customer expectations
• Process review and enhancement on an ongoing basis
• Business support to coverage teams, working on Business Banking product queries and structuring of deals
• Ensure compliance on product and process, to satisfy internal and external control and regulatory requirements
• Lead and train the team of employees under your charge to deliver the organisational objectives following the values of the Bank.

Responsibility

• Deliver financial metrics; pertaining to Revenues, Book growth and Portfolio performance
• Effectively manage the Business Banking – Lending product team; and further interact with multi-disciplinary functions as a key owner of the product.
• Focus on new Product development, Project management and Process enhancement

Your Key skills & experience

• Product / Sales experience of 15 yrs plus with a focus on Business Lending, with a strong knowledge of Trade Finance and Supply Chain finance nuances too.
• Project management experience, should have delivered at least one product from conception to delivery
• Strong assessment capability of customer financials with upto date general knowledge of different industries / trends.
• Well-versed in understanding the legal and technical intricacies around real estate (as a collateral) pan India
• Team management skills
