Online Banking – Administration Portal

We have built up an application used by employees to administrate the Online and Telephone banking accesses for serving the customers. This application is called "Customer Administration Portal". The basic functions are available for use in Germany. Additional brands, functions, and projects as well as for use in other countries will be added successively.

As a Fullstack Engineer you will be the Tech Lead in the team. The team wants a Tech Lead who coordinates with the software architects, in guilds for developers, encourages and challenges other developers, helps and seeks solutions and will coordinate the development in an agile environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Work in software development projects as Lead Full Stack Developer to develop new online banking customer and employee processes and develop new services and components for online banking and other applications.

• Design and develop complete solutions in cooperation with the solution architects for use in Online banking or code/design blueprints as a working basis for the development teams or external service providers. Their focus is also on the further development of critical software components in the context of Online & Mobile banking (e.g., authentication and legitimation of end customers, or payment transaction processes). Define, setup and maintenance of the CI/CD pipelines and the Infrastructure as Code Setup for automated infrastructure provisioning.

• Use your experience as a Lead Full Stack Developer to evaluate and ensure that your solutions can be operated flawlessly on the same platform, even under high load scenarios.

• Act as a point of contact for all topics and questions related to software development - both from the other developers (through active coaching) and from the other team members. Promote efficient know-how transfer.

• Bring your experience to actively help to increase the stability and reliability of the developed solutions, identify and fix bugs and increase test automation of the services to maintain.

Your skills and experiences

• Extensive professional experience and expert knowledge (also practical) to lead a group of developers in agile delivery teams, perform pair programming and regular code reviews.

• Extensive professional experience and expert knowledge (also practical) around Full Stack Development of IT solutions/ applications with Java, Javascript and TypeScript and for highly available, load-resistant and well-tested web applications.

• Extensive experience and expert knowledge (also practical) of

  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment tools (e.g., Github, Gitlab) and patterns for CI/CD pipelines.

  • automated infrastructure provisioning and testing based on Terraform/TerraGrunt, Terraform Enterprise.

  • Node.js, Quarkus, Spring Boot, Angular, Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, REST), SQL and NoSQL.

• A passion for constantly learning and applying new technologies and programming languages in a constantly evolving web environment.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong independence and initiative, ability to work in agile delivery teams.
