Role Description
The Data Analytics Engineer provides high quality, meaningful analysis to internal stakeholders, in a timely manner, to address current and future business needs. They leverage the analytical toolkit and research techniques to create value added insights for stakeholders. They typically work under the guidance of Analytics Managers to deliver analysis in line with stakeholder requirements.
He is reporting to the Team Lead of the Data Analytics team in Berlin, the Data Analyst will be member of Group Audits Center of Excellence (CoE) for Data Analytics. This CoE is responsible to enable all functions of Group Audit with data analytics services and audit automation solutions. As a newly founded team, the Data Analytics Developer will do pioneer work in projects and help Group Audit to establish innovative and effective processes which will become instrumental for the success of the function.

Your key responsibilities
- Work with the Data Analytics team in Berlin on automation of regular data delivery for current data analysis project primarily by using GCP Cloud Native Services.
- Develop applications for self-service analytics solutions using Python and SQL.
- Adopt to hybrid and native cloud technologies with OpenShift and Google Cloud Platform.
- Execute unit and system testing and create the technical documentation for the solutions.
- Enhance existing data-driven solutions regarding data ingest, transformation (ETL), reporting and machine learning capabilities.
Your skills and experience
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science etc.) or equivalent work experience ideally in the banking industry.
- Experience as full stack developer ideally using Python, SQL and Docker
- Experience on development frameworks (i.e. Flask, Python Pandas)
- Knowledge of data analytics techniques and machine learning models
- Reporting and Visualization (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, matplotlib) is preferred
