Role Description
Our team is part of the area Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) Private Bank. Within TDI, Partnerdata is the central client reference data system in Germany. As a core banking system, many banking processes and applications are integrated and communicate via >2k interfaces. From a technical perspective, we maintain critical functionality on the mainframe, but build new solutions (REST services, Angular frontend, analytics capabilities) in a public and private cloud environment. Next to the maintenance and the implementation of new CTB requirements, the content focus also lies on the regulatory and tax topics surrounding a partner/ client. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer colleague to help us with day-to-day activities such as build and deploy pipelines, configuring and managing the underlying System clusters, help application teams with setting up deployment parts and fixing deployment errors, logging and monitoring, etc.

Your key responsibilities
- You are the Lead of configuration and deployment manager for the Partnerdata API and Frontend platform.
- You are responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement for the CI/CD pipelines in line with internal policies and standards.
- As part of an agile team you collaborate with software developers, product managers and other stakeholders to ensure quality, stability and consistency of the application landscape.
- You facilitate the application governance procedure, support software releases and provide L3 support in case of incidents.
- You are willing to work and code (Java, Spring Boot, Angular etc.) and to guide juniors in the team.
Your skills and experience
- You are an expert in building and deploying code in an enterprise-grade environment utilizing CI/CD pipelines, especially TeamCity, Maven, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and helm.
- You have experience with maintaining container-based applications and are familiar with container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes/Openshift.
- You have advanced knowhow in monitoring solutions and best practices (Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus/Kibana)
- You have advanced experience with Java and especially Spring and Spring Boot applications.
- Experience in Google Cloud CI/CD tools is a big bonus.
- You have very good English skills which allow you to communicate professionally, but also informally, with all team members.
- You demonstrate willingness to share your experience and explain your technical decisions to less experience engineers or non-technical colleagues.
