Role Description

• Trade Finance & Lending (TFL) Product Management is mandated to develop and improve the product offering as well as the underlying processes and infrastructures, while operating within the Corporate Bank’s agile setup. We focus on leveraging cross-product delivery synergies and optimizing prioritization decisions across the TFL domain. Our responsible is to ensure integrated F2B product and solution delivery with a simplified, seamless client experience and face to the market.
• The transformational stream for Distribution & Syndication is dedicated to deliver innovative ways to broaden the investor reach for a capital efficient and risk adequate positioning of TFL’s assets. Owning the technological solution to enable the business growth and ensure capital effectiveness.
• As a Senior Business Product Manager (BPM) with very good understanding of the current and future market challenges and expertise in agile solution delivery, you will be responsible for thoroughly understanding and managing the detailed requirements for both internal and external users, regulators, and other stakeholders and work in very close liaison with the entire change organization as well as the dedicated run the bank functions.

Your key responsibilities

• Strong leadership skills, able to motivate teams and drive results
• Ensure alignment between Product management, Distribution & Syndication, Portfolio Management, Operations, Credit Risk Management and IT for change-the-bank projects
• Ensure adequate prioritization of demands raised by the internal and external teams and deliver solutions in full compliance with the agile production approach
• Manage conflicts resulting from contradicting prioritizations demand
• Manage independently a delivery train as Product Owner for a derisking or collateral topic with a dedicated squad
• Establish detective and preventive controls and procedures on milestone plans, respective follow-ups, and managing of escalations in order to control the delivery of the end-to-end solutions
• Ensure alignment of the regular and high-quality Product Reviews, Systematic Product Reviews, and Product Risk Assessments for all in scope products, i.e. provide guidance and monitor the process under a uniform standard

Your skills and experience

• Very good knowledge and understanding of Trade Finance & Lending products, in particular credit risk elements, as well as collateral and risk distribution means, ranging from plain vanilla to complex structures, as well as underlying internal processes incl Finance and Credit Risk Management
• Very good understanding of regulations related to de-risking and collateral management, i.e. CRR3
• Innovative mindset – can think out of the box to find innovative solutions, willingness to question the status quo and define minimum viable product
• Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Adaptable and proactive, with a high level of attention to detail
• Effective organizational skills, i.e. the ability to manage multiple demand and prioritize accordingly while having analytical aptitude and strong attentions to details
• Proven track record as Product Owner and project management skills in the delivery of programs run under the agile production approach under tight deadlines
• Excellent English language and presentation skills – both oral and written

Education | Certification (Recommended)

• Bachelor from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Finance Domain (or equivalent work experience or diploma).

Technical Competencies

• Excellent Microsoft Office skills specially in Excel and PowerPoint
