The IT Manager SAP ERP within Procurement IT is responsible for respective Procurement system stability. The focus is on standard SAP ERP FI and Procurement (BuyOrder) system.

  • Strong focus on cooperation within all Procurement departments
  • Proactively proceeding with incidents and issues within Procurement
  • Managing applications and services within the SAP landscape with focus on SAP SRM and some non-SAP applications in the procurement and logistics area
  • Managing the lifecycle of IT-products
  • Proactively developing and proposing solution concepts for new business applications meeting LGBS needs
  • Assessing technical solution alternatives (infrastructure, applications etc.) and developing recommendations
  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of new solutions
  • Managing the order book and the implementation of small changes
  • Managing and supporting projects in the field of procurement and logistics IT

  • Master/Bachelor degree
  • 3+ years of experience with responsibility for business-critical IT systems
  • 3+ years in analyzing and translating business / functional requirements
  • Good functional and technical knowledge of IT systems
  • SAP knowledge
  • Good knowledge of Procurement and logistics environment
  • Capability to organize transition of technological solution design into operational Service Management
  • Practical knowledge of monitoring of interfaces and automated processes
  • Experience in collecting requirements in a structured way, understanding them in depth and design solutions
  • Ability to easily communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical prospects
  • 2+ years of practical experience in supporting and managing SAP applications in the procurement and logistics environment
  • Good understanding of procurement and logistics data flows and processes
  • Experience in customizing and conceptual design of SAP solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of English (both oral and written)
  • German language skills are a must have
