- Implements Global ISM policies for standardized processes and tools
- Designs, configures and maintains enterprise network systems based on DHL IT standards ensuring network availability, security and scalability across multi-site environments.
- Coordinate with country, regional counterparts and Telecoms vendors to ensures reliable communication infrastructure
- Supports user experience and operational effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset information, maximizing efficiency and minimizing risks
- Ensures the right people have the right access to the right things
- Optimizes resources and controls operational costs.
- Builds strong supplier partnerships for better service delivery.
- Acts as an admin for procuring IT supplies and equipment.
- Technical expertise: A strong foundation in information technology is crucial, including knowledge of systems, networks, software, hardware, and emerging technologies.
- IT Governance and Compliance: Well-versed in aligning IT practices with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Familiar with GDPR, TAPA, SOX and data protection laws.
- Vendor Management: Proven success in managing vendor relation-ships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring SLA compliance
- Leadership abilities: Must have excellent leadership skills to guide and motivate the teams, delegate tasks effectively, and provide direction for IT projects.
- Communication skills: Effective communication is vital for collaborating with team members, executives, and stakeholders, as well as conveying technical information to non-technical individuals.
- Strategic thinking: Must have the ability to align IT strategies with business goals, anticipate future needs, and make informed decisions to support the organization's overall objectives.
- Project management: Skills in planning, organizing, and executing pro-jects are crucial, including resource allocation, timeline management, risk assessment, and quality control.
- Problem-solving: Must analyze complex issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and find innovative solutions while considering business constraints.
- Security and risk management: Should possess knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, data protection regulations, and risk assessment to safeguard the organization's digital assets.
- Budgeting and financial management: Budget planning, cost analysis, and financial management skills are necessary for IT managers to optimize resource allocation and demonstrate the value of IT investments.
- Continuous learning: Given the rapid evolution of technology, the candidate should be passionate about staying updated with industry trends, acquiring new certifications, and encouraging a culture of learning within the teams.
- Completed studies in Computer Science/Engineering or comparable qualification
- Previous experience as a people handler
- Experience in IT Service Management
- Broad technical IT understanding, e.g. workstation systems, network
- The ability to plan and manage area rollouts as part of IT lifecycle measures
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Very good team and communication skills as well as open-mindedness
