Job Purpose:
Supervise, coordinate, and execute projects related to control systems, automation, precision HVAC, cold rooms, BMS/EMS platforms, and regulatory validation, ensuring full compliance with CFR 21 Part 11, GMP, NOM‑059, NOM‑241, ASHRAE standards, and DHL corporate guidelines.
This role ensures the validated operation of critical environmental and control systems, the correct integration of Siemens, Johnson Controls, and Danfoss platforms, and the proper management of SCADA, Historian, and data‑integrity–critical infrastructure, guaranteeing timely, on-budget project delivery and high technical reliability.
Your tasks:
  • Supervise control and automation system projects: Integration, programming, commissioning, and validation of BMS/EMS and related automation platforms.
  • Manage regulatory compliance and computerized system validation: Preparation and control of URS, FDS, DDS, IQ, OQ, PQ under CFR 21 Part 11 and GAMP5.
  • Oversee precision HVAC and cold-room projects: Ensuring compliance with ASHRAE, temperature stability, humidity control, and room pressurization.
  • Integrate Siemens / Johnson Controls / Danfoss control platforms: Configuration, interoperability, communication protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC-UA) and system testing.
  • Manage SCADA and Historian systems: Access control, audit trails, user management, data storage, backups, and data integrity verification.
  • Vendor and contractor supervision: On site supervision ensuring HS&E compliance, quality execution, and alignment with project scope.
  • Project coordination and reporting: Manage schedules, deliverables, stakeholder updates, and weekly/minuted work sessions.
  • Support internal and external audits: GMP, NOM, corporate compliance, computerized system validation, and infrastructure audits.
  • Perform full project closeout: Delivery of engineering packages, validation documents, as built drawings, warranties, and handover forms.
Stakeholders
  • Work with FM departments and various business unit management.
  • Connect with and influencer other specialist departments and third parties e.g. external service providers.
  • Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customer and key stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance to senior management, line manager and employees.
  • Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DHL Managers
  • Ensures policies and practices related to job area are followed
  • Uses network of contacts established by construction manager to strengthen the organizational
  • Addresses task related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships
Your profile:
Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Control & Automation Engineering
  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • Electromechanical Engineering
  • Industrial Automation EngineeringHands on supervision of automation and control system projects
  • Experience with BMS/EMS in pharmaceutical or regulated environments
  • Programming, integration, and commissioning of Siemens, JC, or Danfoss controllers
  • Execution of FAT/SAT/IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities
  • Experience with computerized system validation
  • Knowledge of Data Integrity, audit trails, and CFR21 compliance
  • Supervision of HVAC precision systems and cold room control
  • Experience operating SCADA or Historian platforms
  • Contractor supervision and MEP field coordination
  • Ability to interpret P&ID, control diagrams, and electrical schematics
Preferred:
  • PMBOK-certified training
  • Certifications in Siemens / Johnson Controls / Danfoss systems
  • GAMP5 / CSV / Data Integrity trainingExperience with ISO classified cleanrooms
  • Automation experience in logistics/pharmaceutical distribution
  • Participation in GMP and NOM 059/NOM 241 audits
  • Conceptual design of automation and control systems
