NAME OF THE POSITION – House of pricing/Pricing Specialist

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To ensure efficient and accurate freight forwarding operations, providing exceptional service to business partners and clients.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive request from country or HOP Gatekeeper to create IPT and launch to countries or regions involved.
  • Create IPT for Ports, ensuring alignment with country or regional support requirements.
  • Officially launch the RFQs, incorporating the IPT and all relevant documents to DGF countries and regions accordingly.
  • Complete the IPT and CPT for final submission, ensuring compliance with country or regional thresholds.
  • Review all final submissions. Submit to the country or HOP Gatekeeper for a sanity check.
  • Prepare the final submission to the customer.
  • Prepare detailed analyses for subsequent rounds.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of experience, preferably in forwarding or pricing
  • Strong English skillset in verbal/written is required
  • Result-oriented mindset, deadline awareness, customer focus
  • Advanced knowledge on Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data handling
  • Willingness to make extra effort when needed

OTHER INFORMATION YOU MAY NEED TO KNOW

  • Our DHL Building is located at BUD International Airport.
  • We work from 8:00 to 17:00, with 1 hour lunch break.
  • As an agent working closely with stations located in other European countries, you may be required to work on Hungarian national holidays – for which you will be compensated in accordance with the Hungarian Labor Code.
