Pricing Specialist – Fixed-term Contract

Key Responsibilities:

Improve the DHL Fulfillment Network on a global scale by…

• Collecting and running pricing activities following DFN standards and tools.
• Educating, training and supporting new countries on DFN pricing processes.
• Identifying improvement needs in the Pricing Tool and raising enhancement ideas.
• Providing expert advice and recommendations for pricing decisions.

Support the Sales team in gaining new DFN customers by…

• Analyzing market insights to understand competitive landscape and positioning.
• Defining sensible EBIT margins per customer, balancing profitability and willingness to pay.
• Consulting and supporting Sales throughout the pricing process.
• Suggesting improvements to pricing tools and processes.
• Executing minor adjustments of the standard pricing in exceptional cases.

Finance & Projects:

• Occasional participation in projects such as pricing tool upgrades or yield management initiatives.

Stakeholder Management:

• Close cooperation with Pricing, Sales, Product Management, Warehouse management and other key functions.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of proven logistics experience, ideally including pricing responsibilities.
• Willing to engage in a one-and-a-half-year employment contract.
• Degree-level education (Master’s preferred).
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to moderate between functions.
• Excellent MS Excel skills; basic programming knowledge is an advantage.
• Process‑oriented, consultative and collaborative working style.
