In this Ocean freight and Airfreight Specialist Position

• To carry out OPS processes to deliver flow of goods and information across the customer’s supply chain in strict adherence to DGF business strategy, objectives, corporate guidelines, policies, procedures and instructions, including but not limited to:

1. To process shipments basing on customer requirements with various nominated third parties to ensure customer needs are met;
2. To provide guidance, instructions and supervision to suppliers, contractors and customers on the steps needed for proper shipments processing;
3. To process / deliver related documentation within a required timeframe in accordance to industry best practice and legal requirements;
4. To properly and timely update shipment statuses (milestones) in DGF systems;
5. To resolve and analyze issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices for OPS, focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency;
6. To Identify performance issues of contractors, suppliers and Network, and propose solutions to improve performance;

• To develop and maintain relationships with DGF Network, suppliers, contractors and customers;
• To monitors and steer service quality (measured by OPS KPIs) for all shipments in scope, planning and executing CAPA accordingly.
• Support DGF Management with the local implementation of new/change of systems, processes and workflows
• Minimum 3-5 years related working experience

Now, here is what we need from you!

• 3-5 years of experience in different areas of Operations in big multinational Freight Forwarder.
• Deep knowledge of forwarding business.
• Good knowledge of CW1 and other DGF applications.
• Strong analytical skills and good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving mentality.
• English + French on good level.
