Job purpose:

1. Lead and Manage & Develop strategies on

- Value Added Services(Road , Logistics Management Services (LMS), Trade Fair and Event (TFE), Trading Services (TRD), Record Management Services

- Domestics Freight products

- CDZ Services

2. Design reasonable transportation routes and models and provide multiple solutions based on customers needs

Major responsibilities

Operations and Compliance:

Ensure local implementation of globally defined standards

• Define local additions and adjustments to global standards

• Review operational costs and service performance on country level

• In absence of local customer service function, perform customer service activities

Customer Operations Support :

• Develop key customer relations in collaboration with Marketing & Sales and Global Customer Solutions (CSI)

• Undertake key leadership role in top level sales and product development initiatives to gain regional and global customers

• Responsible/manage for responding to tenders and RFQs via division head

• Organizing and leading customers workshops in order offer them innovative logistic solutions

Local VAS& DOM & CDZ Organizations

• Provide leadership in the areas of product and business development, resource utilization, country organization structure and activities

• Support and co-ordinate the development, implementation and localization of key initiatives and programs

• Facilitate and support countries’ efforts in maintaining healthy relationships with trade bodies and government agencies & authorities, including being an active subscriber or participant of global research agencies

• Establish KPIs and obtain agreement & commitment from country management

• Provide guidelines and support for the implementation of programs such as security regulation to meet regionally mandated regulatory requirements

Strategic VAS & DOM & CDZ Product Management – Business Performance and Results:

• Define VAS & DOM & CDZ product portfolio

• Determine pricing levels

• Lead product maintenance

• Direct improvement of products and development of new products

• Analyze cost structure of products on country level and determine strategies and approaches to better meet targets or address weaknesses

Business Planning:

• Manage the annual planning process ensuring VAS & DOM & CDZ develops a realistic plan that supports the agreed strategies, maintain or improve market share and service levels, while meeting contribution levels to the network.

People Management

• Determine organization structure, roles and responsibility and performance targets for the function

• Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness.

• Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team.

• Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.

• Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional

and Country objectives and targets.

• Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.

Job Requirement

· Minimum 7 years experience in different management positions in a multinational logistics company with experience in VAS

· VAS & DOM & CDZ product knowledge

· Change management

· Financial skills / budgeting

· Project management

· Logistics/Supply Chain Management knowledge (needed in discussions with customers in order to understand requirements and develop solutions)

· Legal aspects of forwarding/logistics (eg liability transport contracts, customer liability, air cargo insurance, standard operating terms, claims handling, etc)
