The role of a Software Engineer is a combination of project delivery and support. Software Engineers are an important part of an agile team, they need to understand and implement the requirements by business. As part of a DevOps Team, they solve incidents based on tickets, take care of a proper monitoring of the system and implement CR’s after the Go Live of a product. On top of it they bring improvement ideas in the discussions to increase quality and develop the product further.

As a Software Engineer, having Python experience, Prompt Engineering and Generative AI models, use cases knowledge is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of Software Development Methodologies and DevSecOps process and tools will also be an integral part of this role.

You are a GenAI aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and project management tools, analytical and soft skills. You are able to work independently prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure. Working in a multinational environment, you can expect cross-region collaboration with teams around the globe, thus being advanced in spoken and written English will be certainly useful.

You will work on enterprise products such as the Customer Data Compliance Platform (CDCP) and Customer Master Integration & Reporting (CMIR), embedding agentic AI capabilities that enhance data compliance, integration, quality, reporting, and operational decision-making.

Must-Have Technical Expertise

• Strong programming experience in Python and Java
• Solid experience in frontend development using ReactJS or Angular
• Proven hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and distributed systems
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
• Proficiency in Git and modern version control workflows

High-Scale System & Performance Engineering

• Proven experience working with large-scale transactional systems
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning, including:
• Application-level optimization
• Database query optimization (SQL/NoSQL)
• Memory and concurrency management
• Ability to analyze bottlenecks and improve throughput, latency, and system efficiency
• Experience with observability tools (logging, tracing, monitoring) to ensure system health

Generative AI & Innovation

• Hands-on experience or strong interest in Generative AI, LLMs, and Prompt Engineering
• Understanding of real-world AI use cases and integration into enterprise systems

Engineering Excellence

• Strong commitment to clean code principles (readability, maintainability, scalability)
• Familiar with best practices such as:
• SOLID principles
• Code reviews and refactoring
• Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Ability to write production-grade, well-documented, and testable code

Good to Have

• CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Other Requirements

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities under pressure
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Comfortable working in a multinational, cross-regional team environment
