Responsibilities
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and maintaining accurate inventory records across warehouse operations. The role ensures alignment between system inventory and physical stock, supports cycle counting and reconciliation activities, and works closely with Operations and Clients to resolve inventory discrepancies.
This position plays a critical role in inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and data‑driven decision‑making within DHL Supply Chain operations.
- Monitor daily inventory movements and ensure system accuracy versus physical stock
- Conduct and support cycle counts, wall‑to‑wall counts, and inventory audits
- Analyze inventory variances and perform root‑cause analysis
- Prepare inventory reports such as SOH vs actual, adjustments, and reconciliation summaries
- Coordinate with Operations, Team Leaders, and Clients regarding inventory issues
- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and SOPs
- Validate inbound, outbound, and internal stock movements in WMS
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy
- Assist in system clean‑ups, master data validation, and documentation
- Participate in client meetings or internal reviews related to inventory performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 1-3 years' experience in inventory analysis or warehouse operations.
- Good understanding of inventory management principle (cycle count, reconciliation, variance analysis etc.)
- Basic to intermediate MS Excel skills (data analysis, reports, pivot tables etc.)
- Experience using WMS or SAP and inventory reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented, analytical and highly organized
- Good communication skills and able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
- Willing to work on shifting schedules and render overtime when needed
- Willing to be assigned in Northpoint 2, Bustos, Bulacan
