Job Purpose
In Life Sciences and Healthcare, we put patients, providers, and partners at the center of everything we do. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Commercial IT, Customer Services IT, and other functional IT domains, representing Network Operations IT & Digital Customer Solutions to provide strategic direction and leadership to Product Managers and Technology Product teams within Life Sciences and Healthcare. Acting as a bridge between technical and business functions, you will align technology initiatives with enterprise goals. You’ll break down complex challenges into clear, structured, actionable steps that effectively drive product strategy and development.
As Senior Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to IT stakeholders across all functions involved in Life Sciences and Healthcare enablement from a Network Operations perspective.
This is an advanced-level position within the IT Product Management career path. It requires leading and securing resources, defining product strategy, managing stakeholders, overseeing a portfolio of products and projects, driving innovation, and ensuring successful delivery that generates meaningful business value.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?
2. Define and build alignment on product vision and strategy in collaboration with business stakeholders and technology architecture teams.
3. Drive the end to end execution of the product vision, from defining features to planning how solutions are introduced to the business—from launch through go to market.
4. Advocate for high impact feature prioritization with business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on the technology roadmap and securing necessary resourcing across teams.
5. Collaborate with executives to shape product vision, provide insights on customer experience improvements, and contribute domain expertise.
6. Maintain expert knowledge of the field, including competitive solutions, third party products, market trends, and privacy focused product approaches.
7. Oversee the technical aspects of solutions, including product briefings, proof of concept efforts, and coordination of technical resources.
Management Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will provide strategic leadership, manage resources, engage stakeholders, and oversee projects to ensure the IT domain aligns with business objectives.
2. Prepare and deliver clear product messaging to global and regional business stakeholders, highlighting the value proposition and realized business outcomes.
3. Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructures, offering best‑practice guidance to senior technology and product teams.
4. Assess complex trade-offs and perform effective prioritization, recognizing when platform investments are essential to enabling future acceleration.
5. Navigate across levels of stakeholder management, helping your team do the same—able to discuss technical details while connecting them to employee efficiency and customer experience impact.
6. Lead with empathy, driving difficult decisions when necessary while inspiring alignment and engagement.
7. Champion technical craftsmanship, appreciating the value of tools and processes while recognizing when rigidity can hinder progress.
8. Recruit and develop talent, focusing on individuals who are both technically strong and successful in collaborative, cross-functional innovation environments.
Do you have what it takes?
• 15+ years of experience in a technical role or similar customer‑facing technical capacity.
• Experience managing teams.
• Experience leading medium to large organizations across diverse solutions and technologies.
• Ability to lead with enthusiasm and adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
• Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and cloud/IT solutions.
• Strong ability to engage and influence both technical and non‑technical audiences; recognized as a technical thought leader.
• Ability to influence global, regional, and cross‑functional teams to deliver quality business outcomes and secure alignment with key stakeholders.
• A “get‑it‑done” attitude, able to work across organizational silos, manage goals in a matrix environment, and adopt best practices efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
