Role Purpose:
The role sits at the intersection of business, finance, and IT, acting as a solution-oriented Business Analyst / Functional Architect with responsibility for covering the functional domains: Billing, Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Cash-on Delivery(COD), Credit & Collections (CA), and Record-to-Report (RTR).
It is not a pure documentation or configuration role — the focus is on functional design, business alignment, and delivery support.
The role acts as a functional integrator, bridging business, finance, and technical teams to design, validate, and deliver scalable billing, invoicing, and finance solutions for DHL eCommerce’s evolving digital landscape.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead and support functional workstreams across Billing, OTC, PTP, COD, CA, and RTR for the SHAPE+ S/4HANA migration.
  • Interpret and translate business, finance, and operational requirements into robust SAP functional solutions across S/4HANA Finance, S/4HANA Billing, and SAP BRIM/GRIP modules.
  • Serve as the functional point of contact ensuring integration across S/4HANA and external GRIP/BRIM components.
  • Review, validate, and sign off functional designs including data flows, process maps, and solution architecture alignment.
  • Act as the functional bridge between business stakeholders, finance teams, and IT
  • Translate business and finance requirements into robust SAP based billing and invoicing solutions and SAP (S/4HANA) finance solutions
  • Support SAP implementation initiatives across: Requirements clarification, Functional solution design, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination
  • Facilitate workshops and align stakeholders on billing concepts and system capabilities
  • Contribute to project tracking and delivery governance
  • Support knowledge transfer and end user enablement where required
  • Design and document future state finance solutions processes
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the functional bridge between business stakeholders, finance stakeholders, operations teams, and IT delivery organizations.
  • Coordinate and support key project phases including:
    • Requirements clarification and validation
    • Functional solution design
    • Integration design between S/4HANA, GRIP and other DHL APAC systems
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) preparation, execution coordination, and defect triage
  • Facilitate workshops to align stakeholders on billing concepts, finance flows, revenue rules, and system capabilities.
  • Support delivery governance, keeping track of project progress, risks, and dependencies.
  • Deliver documentation for future-state finance and billing processes.
  • Conduct knowledge-transfer sessions and end-user enablement to ensure smooth adoption.
Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of experience in SAP-based billing, finance, or revenue-related processes.
  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Finance, S/4HANA Billing, or BRIM/Contract Accounting (FI CA).
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Billing & invoicing processes
  • Subscription or recurring revenue models
  • Integration touchpoints across OTC, PTP, CA, COD, RTR
  • Experience in SAP migration or transformation programs, preferably large-scale implementations.
Skills & Competencies
  • Ability to design and document future-state business and system processes (not just collect requirements).
  • Strong cross-functional communication and the ability to explain system processes to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation skills for workshops, design sessions, and UAT phases.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to bring clarity to complex finance and billing requirements.
Highly Relevant SAP Backgrounds
  • You may come from one of the following backgrounds:
  • SAP S/4HANA Finance
  • SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management)
  • SAP FI CA / Finance / Billing
  • SAP SD / Finance with strong billing or subscription model exposure
  • Experience in complex billing environments or high-volume transaction systems.
