Responsibilities:

  • Administer starbroker/air freight activities as part of the starbroker/air freight product and capacity management plans to support the commercial plans in line with business objectives, corporate guidelines and policies.
  • Under limited supervision, to support team members in providing allocation and reservations of freight on planned linehaul and flights required for hub and operations performance
  • Administer operational activities while ensuring effective resource management and optimizing productivity for the day-to-day operations
  • Support team members in timely monitoring and accurate updating of products
  • Provide timely and effective administrative support to maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries
  • Gather data and information for customers and maintain close business relationship with existing clients and enhance customer retention
  • Perform broad range of tasks and activities to consolidate, record information and handle day-to-day shipment documentation
  • Follow up recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development
  • Follow and achieve compliance on starbroker/ air freight product and capacity management methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Degree or above or qualification equivalent to Level 4 of Qualifications Framework (QF)
  • 4 year or above relevant experience in logistics industry is desirable
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Energetic, independent and responsible
  • Detail-oriented and customer focus
  • Proficient in PC operations, e.g. MS Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Less experienced candidate will be considered as Executive
  • Immediate available is an advantage
This role is offered as a six‑month short‑term contract position, with no current pathway to permanent employment.
