We are responsible for the development and support of one of the core functionalities on our main DHL website (www.dhl.com), specifically the Track and Trace feature. This functionality enables the daily tracking of hundreds of thousands of packages, playing a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction. Our team operates within an agile environment (Scrum) and is composed of a diverse, international group based in the Czech Republic, Germany and India.
As a Quality Engineer, you will join our agile team of six and contribute to both manual and automated testing. We expect you to have strong experience in manual testing and a solid foundation in test automation, which will be a base for your further upskilling.

Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the quality of the team’s delivery by creating and executing both manual and automated test cases.
- Timely defect reporting and validation after deployments.

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:
- Proficiency in Manual Web Testing: Expertise in manual testing of web pages is essential, including daily use of developer tools for effective diagnostics and analysis.
- Experience with utilizing mock data as part of the testing process.
- Knowledge of Regression, Sanity, End-user and Layout Testing (using Dev tools).
- Knowledge of Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with the Cucumber framework (Java) and Selenium is highly desirable. Knowledge of locators used in Automation .
- Knowledge of Git Basics.
- Test Automation Skills: Ability to write and enhance both manual and automated test cases. Collaborate with the team on improving the test automation framework.
- Execution and Defect Reporting: Execute test cases diligently and report any identified defects to the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Effective Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clarity in reporting defects and discussing testing strategies.
