YOUR TASKS:

The Professional Ground Support Equipment position is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing of tools, vehicles, and equipment of EAT Leipzig and its stations. The Professional Ground Support Equipment ensures their safe usability at all times.

Inspection and assessment of the current condition of Ground Support Equipment assets and objects
Execution of maintenance and servicing activities on GSE, tools, vehicles, and equipment
Organization and performance of equipment inspections for Ground Support Equipment
Execution of technical tests on aircraft‑specific tools and testing devices
Organization, coordination, and execution of repair processes and all related tasks (comparison of offers, reordering) in compliance with internal regulations and requirements
Preparation of legally required certificates
Coordination with the HSE department to ensure compliance with testing and occupational safety regulations
Participation in cross‑departmental projects

YOUR PROFILE:

Profession-specific vocational training (in an aviation-technical or related profession) and several years of relevant professional experience, or a university degree, or extensive relevant professional experience
Very good German skills
Very good English skills
Forklift driving license (license for industrial trucks)
Ability to work in a team
Ability to work independently
Practical thinking and openness to different solution approaches
Good MS Office skills
Strong technical interest
