Working within a challenging and fast paced role, you will be a vital team member, displaying an ability to provide support for all national internal and external stakeholders on all transport systems. Within this position you would be expected to identify process improvements & innovative & innovative solutions creating a more productive, cost effective and profitable team. This role requires the successful candidate to have demonstrated transport experience, be analytical and process driven in maintaining the DHL culture and best practices.

The ability to work outside of normal business hours required.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and reporting of systems & procedures
• Maintaining rate cards in systems including importing rates
• Analytical problem solving and system planning identifying opportunities for improvement
• Daily interaction with internal and external stakeholders
• Plan and assist in operational efficiencies
• Inventory experience beneficial

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Transport/Statistics preferred
• Solid Transport System skills and experience
• Strong transport/operational/warehouse knowledge
• In depth experience of logistics and supply chain processes
• Support or Help desk experience
• Working knowledge of system, network and data base set-ups
• Systems administration background
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Advanced MS Office; specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
