We’re looking for a motivated and dependable intern with an interest in talent acquisition and people‑focused work. You’ll be organised, comfortable balancing multiple tasks, and confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders with limited supervision. A strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a willingness to learn—particularly around data, process improvement, and inclusive hiring—will help you thrive in this role.

The Global Functions Talent Acquisition team is responsible for delivering consistent, inclusive, and high‑quality hiring across the Global Functions, CDO, and RES teams. We work closely with hiring managers, HRBPs, and business leaders to provide a positive recruitment experience across every stage of the hiring lifecycle and help ensure the best possible fit for DHL.

As an intern, you’ll be an active member of the Global Functions TA team, supporting day‑to‑day recruitment activity and strategic initiatives. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across multiple areas of talent acquisition while working with global stakeholders and developing practical, transferable skills.

Eligibility Criteria

This internship is part of a local scheme with universities in Germany. The main eligibility criterion is to be actively enrolled in a university program throughout the entire duration of the internship. You will be required to provide documentation such as your ID, student visa, and enrolment certificate as part of the eligibility verification process.

Your key accountabilities include:

  • Interview Tools, Guides & Hiring Documentation - Support the development and ongoing maintenance of interview tools, hiring documentation, and DEIB‑related materials, including communications linked to the ATS change.
  • Employer Brand & Internal Talent Visibility - assist with employer branding and internal talent visibility through content creation, vacancy promotion, Smartspace updates, and engagement tracking.
  • Vacancy Support - Provide coordination, administrative, and reporting support to recruiters during periods of high hiring demand.
  • Next Generation Talent (NGT) Support - Support NGT Intern and graduate programmes through data tracking, process documentation, reporting, and event coordination.

What are we looking for from you?

  • Studying HR, Business, Communications, Psychology, or similar, with interest in talent acquisition or early careers.
  • Strong written skills with attention to detail
  • Well organised and confident supporting coordination, documentation, and basic data tracking using Excel or similar tools.
  • Fluent English and interest in data/business applications
