Job Purpose:

Refine and implement local and sub‑regional category‑specific strategies. Work closely with sub‑regional procurement teams to identify and recommend best‑in‑class suppliers and maintain strong relationships. Prepare and lead supplier negotiations at the local level.


Your Tasks:

  • Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, including supply market research and intelligence to support business decisions related to investments, budgets, and the establishment of local or sub‑regional frame contracts. Identification, development, and management of strategic suppliers are key responsibilities.
  • Deliver integrated procurement services at the sub‑regional level for business colleagues (divisions). Ensure maximum value contribution, benefit realization, and efficiency across all procurement activities, while meeting customer expectations regarding quality, price, and service.
  • Specialize in the strategic sourcing of goods, services, and transportation capacities to reduce costs and ensure the required quality and supply for the business/function in scope.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of local markets, category trends, suppliers, and key local players.
  • Implement local category strategies while leveraging regional and global strategies.
  • Ensure country/sub‑regional requirements and issues are addressed within corporate/regional strategies.
  • Prepare and lead supplier negotiations at the local level.
  • Prepare, conduct, and lead tenders (including e‑sourcing).
  • Effectively implement local and sub‑regional contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to sourcing, purchasing, and company policies by local divisional colleagues.
  • Manage supplier activities including database maintenance, supplier classification, and identification of new sources.
  • Track and maintain accurate data in procurement tools, including supplier information, rates, contracts, spend, projects, and master data.
  • Contribute to cooperation between countries and sourcing teams.
  • Manage IKO’s and KPI’s within the area of responsibility.
  • Ensure the implementation of strategies to develop the team under your responsibility.

Your Profile:

  • Over 4 years of relevant experience, preferably within a procurement environment.
  • Understanding of, and experience with, procurement practices and procedures as well as commercial law; category‑specific expertise is preferred.
  • Project management experience is an advantage.
  • Relevant university degree and/or equivalent professional experience.
