Role Purpose
This role aims to
- tap into the vast business opportunities presented by Chinese companies both within and outside China.
- deliver superior logistics solutions tailored to China company’s needs based on deep understanding of CN customers and their supply chain decision drivers
- spearhead our Grow CN Initiatives with related experience & vision
Role Purpose
This roles directly reports to Head of M&S, AP , dotted line reports to CEO, Greater China.(TBD)
Key Responsibilities
- Grow CN Initiative Leadership: Drive the Grow CN Initiatives by leveraging the business opportunities offered by CN companies, including large MNCs with strong CN bases and extensive overseas networks.
- Strategic Development and Implementation: Develop and implement a strategic and targeted approach to build close proximity with CN customers, understanding their key success factors and value propositions.
- Ownership of Global Program: Take full ownership of the program globally, including strategy development, Win-Win Plan creation, and building customer intimacy.
- Value Proposition and Competitive Differentiation: Define and communicate the DGF value proposition for CN customers, identifying key success factors and differentiators compared to other forwarders.
- Leadership and Coordination: Effectively lead and coordinate various country Key Account Managers (KAMs) on customer development plans and tactics to secure business volumes and achieve profitable growth.
- Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with Regional/Country Products and Sales teams, as well as the Customer Solutions & Innovation (CSI) team, to ensure seamless delivery of logistics services.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with CN clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Industry Insights and Trends: Monitor industry trends and market developments to stay ahead of the competition and continuously improve our offerings.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present detailed reports and analysis on supply chain performance, customer satisfaction, and program success metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in related industry, preferably with a focus on CN customers and MNCs.
- Strong understanding of CN business culture and customer preferences.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies and programs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English.
- Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in a global environment.
