You will drive projects end-to-end across discovery, planning, delivery, and adoption phases—ensuring alignment with the DHL ITS Run/Build model, service governance, and ITIL best practices.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex IT initiatives within DHL IT Services’ global portfolio. The ideal candidate will manage cross regional stakeholders, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with our enterprise architecture, security standards, and operational excellence principles.
Project Leadership & Delivery
• Lead complex, multi stream IT projects within DHL group’s global technology landscape.
• Drive project scoping, planning, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (Build, Run, Infrastructure, and Business Product Owners).
• Manage vendor engagement and delivery quality.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as the primary interface between DHL ITS teams, DHL Express stakeholders, external partners, and other governance bodies.
• Provide clear and structured communication to stakeholders at all levels (operational to executive).
• Prepare PMO status reports, RAID logs, steering committee reports, and milestone reviews.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and strategic alignment sessions.
Execution & Risk Management
• Monitor progress, performance, and service impact.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints early; implement mitigation and contingency plans.
• Ensure production readiness through coordination with Run teams and adherence to operational acceptance criteria.
• Oversee successful go-live, hypercare, and transition to stabilized operations.
Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
• Ensure deliverables comply with security, data protection, and internal audit standards.
• Champion best practices in project management, agile delivery, and process optimization.
• Contribute to PM community of practice and share delivery insights across teams.
Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:
• 7–10+ years experience managing IT projects in large enterprise environments.
• Proven success delivering multi-million-euro projects with global stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT domains (cloud, integrations, infrastructure, security, application development).
• Results-oriented and driven by goal achievement with a strong focus on excellence and high-quality project delivery
• Ability to lead multicultural teams across time zones and manage both internal and vendor resources.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience working with agile, hybrid, or waterfall methodologies.
• Strong financial management experience (forecasting, capex/opex tracking).
• Relevant certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, ITIL are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, or large-scale enterprise IT ecosystems.
• Experience with cloud migration, cyber security initiatives, digitalization programs, or modernization projects.
• Background managing vendor ecosystems.
