We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven professional to lead our Air Freight Export Operations and Commercial Coordination (ACC) function. This role requires a strategic leader with strong operational expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive performance, service excellence, and business growth within a fast-paced logistics environment.
The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end air export operations, pricing and tender management, carrier partnerships, compliance, and operational performance while ensuring alignment with global standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Air Freight Export Operations and Commercial Coordination (ACC) to ensure operational efficiency, service excellence, and profitability.
Drive strategic initiatives across export operations, pricing, RFQ/tender management, carrier negotiations, and capacity planning.
Ensure seamless execution of export shipments, regulatory compliance, and adherence to global operational standards and policies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, service providers, customs stakeholders, and internal teams to support sustainable business growth.
Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Monitor operational performance and key business KPIs, proactively driving process optimization and customer-centric solutions.
Partner with regional and network teams to strengthen commercial opportunities, service delivery, and operational capabilities.
Champion innovation, operational hygiene, and service quality across the Air Freight function.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
Must Have
8–10 years of experience within the logistics, freight forwarding, or airline industry.
Proven experience in managing and leading operational teams.
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to drive operational excellence and a high-performance culture.
Sound commercial understanding with experience in pricing, carrier management, and stakeholder engagement.
Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
Professional qualifications or certifications in Business Administration, Operations Management, EXIM, or IATA.
Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs compliance.
Strong understanding of Indian export trade, trade lanes, commodities, and market dynamics.
