Responsibilities
- Oversee and control all inventory activities to ensure accuracy, availability, and integrity of stock
- Develop and implement inventory management policies, procedures, and controls
- Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts and audits, and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate with operations, planning, and customer service to support inbound and outbound activities
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials in compliance with quality and safety standards
- Analyze inventory data, KPIs, and reports to drive accuracy, cost control, and continuous improvement
- Lead, train, and supervise inventory staff to maintain high performance and compliance
- Utilize WMS and other systems to maintain real-time inventory visibility and reporting
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, stock control, and warehouse operations
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking tools
- High analytical and data management skills to interpret inventory reports, KPIs, and trends
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Ability to conduct and manage cycle counting, audits, and reconciliations
- Solid planning and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Effective leadership and people management skills to train, coach, and supervise inventory teams
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities
- Good communication and coordination skills to work with operations, planning, and customer teams
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance standards in warehouse environments
- Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives (process optimization, accuracy improvement, cost control)
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
