Purpose of the job:

The Finance Accounting Operating Model (AOM) is a strategic initiative within the DHL Supply Chain (DSC) Reimagine Finance program. Its objective is to establish a new Financial Accounting Operating Model aligned with the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, delivering cost and efficiency benefits while positioning DSC to fully leverage future digitalization innovations. This is achieved through strict adherence to global standards and continuous process improvement.

This role is critical in leading and managing a team to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day AOM operations, with responsibility for delivering high-quality services on time while complying with DHL Supply Chain Reimagine Finance standards, policies, and procedures

Key Responsibilities

Operational:

· Ensure the maintenance of general accounts and financial data complies with Group Accounting Policy& Guidelines, IFRS statement, and Accounting Standard Procedures including documentation of any deviation.

· Provide valid, accurate, complete and transparent financial reporting including analysis of results and follow-up on the closure of any open items such as ensure updates and maintenance of the period end and year-end closing schedules for the countries in scope.

· Implement in scope processes to the agreed statement of work and deliver value accounting support.

· Work in collaboration with global regional/global ICS team to ensure all controls are performed, assessed, closed, and remediated timely; including participate in the ICS call country, regional and global ICS Leads to provide a forum for clarifications and discussions.

· Identify and implement any process improvement including effectiveness of existing policies and propose enhancements when necessary.

· Ensure deliverable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

· Perform root cause analysis and implement mitigation actions for any KPI failure.

· Subject Matter Expert (SME) in accounting process and technical support, in collaboration with Accounting Governance & BPO.

· Support Statement of Profit and Loss & Balance sheet review activities.

· Manage team performance, discipline, and deliverables, provide guidance and support when required.

· Manage relationships with SSC, Others Centers, Country team and CFO.

· Support on any new activities transition.

Stakeholders:

· Build strong, trusted partnerships with counterparts and internal stakeholders across DSC Finance and Operations, acting as an integrated member of the DSC team.

· Foster close collaboration with other hubs and centers to enable seamless workflows and the sharing of best practices.

Management responsibility:

· Manage a team of accountants who are operating within a predefined framework.

· Lead, coach, and develop a team of RtR acccountants, fostering a highperformance and customerfocused culture.

· Provide guidance, support, and motivate team members, this includes provide clarification on business requirements and ensure team members have the necessary knowledge to carry out their activities effectively.


Key Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.

· Qualified or part-qualified accountant (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)

· 5 years of experience in accounting roles.

· 3 years in a team leader or supervisory role.

Qualifications

· Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).

· Experience in US or LATAM Shared Services or Global Business Services operations desired.

· Preferably holds a valid US visa.

· English: Upper - Advance proficiency (B2 ).

· Spanish: Nearnative / mastery proficiency (C2 ).

Portuguese: is a plus.

· Strong leadership and people management skills.

· End to end RTR process expertise. Strong IFRS Knowledge is required.

· Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.

· Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving capabilities.
