Customer Service Advisor / Service Point Agent

About the Role
DHL Express Cayman is looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Customer Service Advisor / Service Point Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive experience by providing accurate information, processing shipments, and handling financial transactions securely and efficiently.
You will play a key role in delivering excellent service while identifying opportunities to promote additional DHL products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and register payments for all DHL services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures
- Process outbound shipments and perform shipment inspections
- Provide customers with accurate information on services, pricing, transit times, and customs requirements
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding needs and offering tailored solutions
- Identify opportunities to upsell and promote value-added services (e.g., insurance, express options)
- Handle customer inquiries and convert walk-in or information requests into sales opportunities
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and maintain financial accuracy
- Support shipment processing, including documentation and airway bill (AWB) assignment
- Follow procedures for the secure handling and delivery of passports and packages
- Maintain cleanliness, security, and organization of the service point
- Report issues, progress, and customer feedback to the Supervisor
- Promote DHL’s brand values and contribute to service point growth initiatives

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle financial transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Basic sales skills with the ability to identify opportunities and upsell services
- Computer literacy (MS Office and systems)
