We currently have an opportunity available for a highly qualified Multichannel Sales Supervisor. The Multichannel Sales Supervisor will work with team members to provide leadership, motivation, and sales coaching to promote and sell DHL services by phone to meet sales targets and generate revenue. The successful candidate will monitor and review customer sales activity and makes adjustments to process and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruits, hires and provides coaching and development to Multichannel Team
- Directs, trains and motivates Multichannel staff who manage accounts and close sales over the telephone
- Manages territories through business analysis, planning, opportunity management and activity management
- Collaborates with Sales, Marketing and Operations management to promote and implement sales growth and customer retention strategies and activities
- Conducts quality monitoring sessions to ensure compliance with established DHL sales call standards
- Answers non-routine questions about products, services and policies of the organization
- Assists Multichannel representatives in securing critical sales in key or complex accounts
- Partners with other sales manager(s) to communicate sales problems, business observations, customer feedback, etc.
- Tracks sales and call productivity and adjusts staffing levels appropriately
- Develops, implements, and improves processes through identification of operational, sales, and technological changes that are having an impact on customer satisfaction and revenue growth
- Assigns work, sets completion dates, reviews work, and manages performance in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and performance management processes
Skills & Qualifications:
- Viewed as expert in functional or business area within DHL
- Demonstrated ability to coach others in sales function
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), database and web-based applications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
