SHEQ and BCM Country Lead

We are now looking for a SHEQ and BCM Lead who is responsible for the safety, health, environmental/energy and quality requirements of the organization's operations also for business continuity, identifies potential threats, assess their impact, and develop strategies to ensure the continued operation of critical business functions in the event of a disruption or crisis.
What will be your job description?
- Coordinate the SHEQ & BCM Team-people management on country level
- Managing and continuously improving SHEQ management system to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices (update of procedures, instructions, risk management and other related documents)
- Presenting proactivity and hand on approach in ensuring safety and quality with best in class standards and corporate objectives and policies
- Conduct internal audits and inspections, cooperate during the external audits, lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures, identifying hazards and support operational teams with actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in safety, health, environmental, and quality performance, be a key contact for customers, especially in Pharma business in order to meet their requirements, ensuring best preparation for audits
- Monitor and report on SHEQ performance metrics, trends, and compliance (act proactively on improvement if necessary)
- Stay informed on relevant regulations, standards, and emerging trends, ensuring their integration into our practices.
- Improving and maintaining emergency response plans (BCM) and management strategies, training crises management team and employees, effecting regular testing, identify critical processes, business impact analysis and recovery strategies
- Maintain the right progress in project management especially in development of new businesses and operations
- Work in close cooperation with country management and cross-functional teams across the CEE region.
What do we expect from you?
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach, very good communication, analytical and leadership skills
- Minimum 5 years H&S experience within operational or process optimisation role within a manufacturing, logistics company or similar
- Occupational Health and Safety Engineer qualification
- Proven experience in SHEQ management and business continuity planning.
- In-depth knowledge of regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across Hungary
- Hungarian and English
- Certification in relevant SHEQ and BCM disciplines is a plus.
