Position: Transport Administrator x4
Location: Wednesbury
Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Supporting manager with accurate and timely daily brief & de-brief of drivers to the DHL standard
• Preparation & reconciliation of delivery paperwork, POD's.
• Monitoring vehicle routes and driver schedules through Microlise, escalating issues where necessary
• Supporting the wider transport team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, transport legislation and Health & Safety standards
• Identifying and reporting any operational concerns or compliance issues in a timely manner
• Maintaining accurate records and transport documentation
• Tachomaster admin & reporting

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous experience within a transport, logistics or distribution environment is essential
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Experience using transport management systems such as Microlise and Tachomaster
• An understanding of driver hours regulations, Working Time Directive (WTD) requirements and transport compliance
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
• The ability to prioritise workload and remain calm under pressure
