You analyze market potential and growth opportunities across European markets, assessing market size, competitive landscapes, customer needs, and regulatory frameworks as the foundation for commercial growth decisions. You develop and evaluate market entry and market expansion strategies (make, buy, or partner), create business cases, and assess investment requirements and risks in close collaboration with Product, Finance, Legal, Tax, and the local Sales Units. You prepare decision-ready business cases and commercial recommendations for the Sales Leadership Team up to C-level, including strategic options, trade-offs, and clear implementation paths. You design go-to-market strategies for new products, services, and markets, defining target segments, value propositions, channel and pricing strategies, sales processes, and enablement initiatives together with the Sales Units. You identify, evaluate, and initiate strategic partnerships and collaborations across key growth areas and support the assessment of potential M A targets from a commercial perspective. You support M A transactions and post-merger integrations from a sales perspective, including commercial due diligence, Day-One readiness, customer migrations, go-to-market harmonization, sales integration, and the realization of commercial synergies. You independently lead strategic growth and transformation initiatives within Sales, from problem definition and solution design through to successful implementation across markets. You translate customer and market insights, including Customer 360, segmentation, ICPs, and opportunity analyses, into tangible commercial actions and sales priorities. You manage external partners and consulting firms within your initiatives and ensure sustainable knowledge transfer into the organization. You provide transparency on the status, progress, and business impact of your initiatives to the Sales Leadership Team and relevant governance bodies. You work closely with local Sales Units as well as Product Management, Digital, Strategy, Marketing, and Finance, representing the sales perspective in cross-functional initiatives.
