You define the technical architecture and strategic direction of our backend systems within your area of responsibility. You design, develop, and optimize APIs, services, integrations, and backend platforms. You drive key technical decisions related to scalability, performance, resilience, security, and maintainability. You ensure that technical solutions align with our enterprise architecture and engineering standards. You establish and continuously evolve standards for API design, service ownership, observability, reliability, security, documentation, and lifecycle management. You drive automation, testing, CI/CD, and the continuous improvement of engineering productivity. You take end-to-end ownership of our backend services and ensure operational readiness through monitoring, incident management, and operational excellence. You provide technical leadership to backend engineers, coach experienced colleagues, and support the development of strong and sustainable engineering capabilities.
